Project Overview

(2) 3 story steel buildings with attached 5 story parking garages, located on the Aquatic Park in Berkeley. Buildings total 470,573 SF and garages total 327,833 SF.

The core/shell buildings are prepped for lab/life science tenants. The building roofs will have over 40,00 SF of green roof area, as well as rooftop solar panels to achieve a net zero energy use for the core/shell.

The façade consists of Curtain wall with bird safe glass, Terra Cotta panels and fins, and metal paneling. Site improvements include a communal elevated deck area between the buildings, as well as a new bike bath and roadway along Bolivar drive.

The project will achieve LEED gold. The project is 100% Union labor.
